Acupuncture with Craniosacral Therapy, Neural & Visceral Manipulation

You may choose to have acupuncture combined with bodywork therapy, or a stand alone bodywork session.  Craniosacral Therapy, Neural & Visceral Manipulation share a similar engagement of touch that flows one to another; the study of each deepens the anatomy of the practitioner to better understand and work with what is being perceived with the feel of the tissue.

Acupuncture

Only high quality, sterile, disposable and ultra thin needles are used, and Matthew has a gentle acupuncture technique for comfort.  Acupuncture treats a wide range of pain and internal organ dysfunction.  Multiple symptoms are often related; acupuncture focuses to treat the root so the body may heal the thread upon which the multiple symptoms are expressing.

Craniosacral Therapy . . .

Matthew is certified by the Milne Institute for Visionary Craniosacral Work where he studied over a 7 year period and currently retakes classes diving deeper into the medicine while assistant teaching.

Craniosacral techniques are holding contacts often at the head and lower back to increase cerebral spinal fluid flow through the central nervous system.  Many people seek craniosacral therapy for headaches, migraines, TMJ, post concussion syndrome, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, sciatic pain, and more.

Visceral Manipulation:  Visceral techniques are specific to working with the anatomy of the abdomen and the abdominal organs (ie. Liver, Pancreas, Speen, Kidney etc).  These techniques improve organ function (motility) and decrease pain stemming from an organ with restricted movement (mobility).  Most abdominal organs are suspended to the back wall of the body by fascial and ligamental attachment and create back pain in dysfunction.

Neural Manipulation:  Neural techniques are gentle stretches to nerve bundles and nerve branches to resolve areas of pain and restore vascularization to tissue.  Nerves are more important than muscles in the hierarchy of needs for the body, so if a nerve is compressed muscle tissue contracts around the nerve to insulate and protect the nerve.  Stretching a contracted nerve lets the protective muscles let go and because nerves always follow an artery, blood supply and circulation improve.

Session Rate:  $95

There is no additional charges for each modality.

You have Matthew's complete attention for the hour, and he will cycle through techniques and pressure based on what is needed to facilitate healing.  You may have a complete bodywork session without acupuncture if you prefer no needles.
